Ticket 300 MT
The performers in Cheered Lies look at history through the filter of their own biography and thus work on a critical historiography in contrast to existing power systems.
They ask us to rethink our assumptions, to shape new social realities-or shift back and forth between different ones, and invite us to look at our received wisdom about civilization from diverse perspectives and not assume that the Western state is the only rational socio-political system.
The project Cheered Lies aims to critically question historical narratives and to discuss notions of nationality, cultural affiliation, and identity.
